What is the TET Exam? TET stands for Teacher Eligibility Test. The NCTE has norms all over India that candidates can be taught in Indian any educational institution in classes 1 to 8 who can meet academic and teacher criteria with the TET exam. So, to be a teacher, candidates must have qualified TET. Exam.
If you want to be a teacher in the school of the Karnataka State government, you must have a qualified Teacher Eligibility Test. Currently, the School Education Karnataka has published a KARTET notification. Teaching aspirants must apply and qualify before getting the teaching posts.
Educational qualification for KARTET
Two different types of posts will be recruited through the qualification of this TET exam.
Primary teachers:
This category is for Cal ss-I to Class VI. The required educational qualification is below.
The candidate must be qualified for the 10+02 exam and teacher training such as D.El.Ed or equivalent from an NCTE-approved Institution. Also, graduate candidates are eligible for these posts but require a B.Ed or equivalent from an NCTE-recognised institution. Candidates applying with the 10+02 qualification must score at least 50% marks in the 10+02 exams. There is no number of barrier for graduate candidates.
Upper Primary Teacher
The upper primary section is for class Vi-VIII cases. To be eligible for teaching posts, they must be qualified for the TET exam. To participate in this TEST, the participant must be a Graduate and have teacher training, such as a B.Ed from a recognized institution.
Important dates for Karnataka TET
The Karnataka TET 2023 exam application will start on July 14, 202,3, and the last date to apply is August 5, 2023. The admit card will be released between August 23 and September 1, 2023. Finally, the Karnataka TET 2023 exam will be held on September 3, 2023.

Application Charges for KARTET
The fee structure for the General Category is Rs. 700/- for either Paper 1 or Paper, and Rs. 1000/- for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. On the other hand, for SC/ST/CI candidates, the fee is Rs. 350/- for either Paper 1 or Paper, and Rs. 500/- for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.
